Description

Working in our Trade-Ins team is an exciting opportunity where you will have the chance to make real commercial impact with your insight and analytics.

As the Trade-Ins Analyst, you will be in charge of ensuring that Traded In devices are exited via the most commercially viable route. You will support the Trade-Ins Product Manager to drive and increase the Trade-Ins margin by utilising stock effectively to increase margin and delivering against the business case.


You will:

  • Analyse and report on Trade Ins stock movement and margin against budget
  • Help to maintain current and future buying and selling strategies along with propositions to ensure stock is being sold and purchased to the best benefit of the company.
  • Manage relationships with the Hong Kong Sourcing Office and Repairs centre to identify the best commercial exit routes.
  • Lead on KPI Management – Understanding the commercial aspects of Trade-Ins and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Support the Trade-Ins Product Manager to develop and implement the future state of the Trade- Ins process, in collaboration with other business channels.
  • Understand the strategic direction set by Dixon Carphone’s senior management team to help identify, develop and deliver a Trade-Ins services strategy.


You will need:

  • Previous experience in an Analyst role with Advanced Excel proficiency
  • The ability to work with various data dashboards and analyse large data sets
  • Strong data manipulation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with previous exposure of using MS office tools
  • A “Can-do” proactive attitude with the determination to see through change
