    As a Currys colleague, you’re entitled to free life assurance, so that if the worst happens, you know that your family would be looked after financially. In the UK that cover’s valued at a minimum of 1x your salary. If you’re in the Republic of Ireland, your Life Assurance scheme will be slightly different.

Health and wellbeing

The health and wellbeing of our colleagues is a key priority, both now and in the future, and we offer a variety of benefits to help you feel supported both at work and at home. There’s our Wellbeing Corner, which is full of resources and tips to stay well. Our Workplace Group of the same name is the place where people share tips and have conversations on how they’re coping. The Aviva Wellbeing app and Thrive Wellbeing App are available to all colleagues too. On top of this we have made huge investments in Mental Health First Aid training to upskill 450 colleagues as Mental Health First Aiders, and also offer an Employee Assistance Programme, which is available 24/7 to all colleagues. On top of that we offer health cash plans, free eye tests, an opt-in dental plan, and a cycle to work scheme. Some of our sites are equipped with prayer rooms. And over at Acton, we even offer a free gym.

Recognition

Knowing your efforts are appreciated makes all the difference at work. That’s why we have the 'You're Electric' scheme, where colleagues can say a public thank you to each other. Every time a colleague receives a thank you, they get a certain number of points. These points can then be converted into vouchers that can be used with a range of retailers.
