The Talent Acquisition Operational Excellence Team is responsible for driving innovation, consistency and efficiency across the Talent Acquisition function and enabling the function to hire the best talent into Dixons Carphone


As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

• Supporting Programme/Project Leads with business case development by analysing problems, opportunities and costs
• Supporting Programme/Project Leads to set up projects using standard business project templates, including scoping, stakeholder mapping and creating project plans 
• Monitoring project plans, spend against budget and risks, issues or decisions to ensure project deadlines are met
• Ensuring all project documentation is appropriately maintained
• Assessing project risks, issues and decisions and providing solutions where applicable 
• Booking meetings and preparing necessary agendas and presentation materials for them
• Chairing, facilitating and participating in project and stakeholder meetings
• Documenting and distributing meeting minutes afterwards, including important actions and decisions
• Following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
• Providing ad hoc administrative and data analytics support when required 

Working within the Operational Excellence Team, the Talent Acquisition Project Specialist assists functional Programme & Project Leads in organising and delivering priority strategic projects on the Talent Acquisition roadmap. Projects on the roadmap currently include ensuring all our workforce aligns to changes in legislation (IR35 & Brexit), enhancing our hiring and selection models, upgrading our recruitment systems and transforming the new starter onboarding experience.  

You will need:

• Knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes, from vacancy creation to day new starter day one
• Knowledge of SuccessFactors and/or other recruitment technology would be advantageous 
• Knowledge of IR35 legalisation would be advantageous
• Incredibly organised
• Able to work effectively either independently or as part of a team
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
