This is a great opportunity for a highly numerate individual with an eye for detail.


This role would suit a Junior Commercial analyst looking to develop their experience of creating and implementing pricing and trading policies.


You will also have the opportunity to influence business partners, ultimately delivering growth in profitability.


We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, ambitious and capable of handling large amounts of data that accurately record the end-to-end process of price and proposition development in a multi-channel environment.


The Commercial Analyst role sits within the Post-pay Pricing team and will be responsible for the Pricing data for all Retail, and Direct channels, as well as analysis of the performance of Pin Point, Reward and Discounting.

You Will 

  • Working at optimum accuracy & productivity to deliver customer propositions as briefed by the pricing team to ensure we record their price, profitability and current setup status.
  • Delivering within agreed SLA ensuring that workload is prioritised in line with commercial decisions
  • Maintaining high levels of QA checking for all work completed, minimising exposure of errors leading to customer service and margin risk. Providing insight into where errors have been made and suggestions for mitigating risk.
  • Ensuring all changes are communicated to Product Activations and relevant stakeholders
  • Answering queries from medics about your areas of responsibility, ensuring that timely resolution for customers is provided at minimum risk to margin and customer journey impact
  • Pricing and commercial strategy, margin optimisation and analysis of reward and Pin Point performance


You will need

  • Strong numeracy skills – critical to be able to deal with complex variables and large data sets
  • Energy, enthusiasm and desire to learn
  • Intermediate MS Office Skills
