Transformation Assurance Manager

Dixons Carphone are undergoing an exciting period of change and transformation after welcoming our new CEO last year. As Transformation Assurance Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the key activities of the Transformation Office that relate to delivery assurance and value realisation; with a remit focused on a number of workstreams. 

The Transformation Function (including Business Change, Business Readiness, Transformation Office, Business Analysis) sits at the heart of delivering our vision and strategy. Working across the business we ensure the overall plan is articulated (benefits; technical specifications & plans), sequenced and delivered - providing vital expertise; challenge and expertise to move our plans from concept to practical delivery. We are a growing team that works across our business working with senior stakeholders and enjoying the cut and thrust of delivery in a fast based business and market.


Key responsibilities:

  • Work across the organisation and with workstream leads to support broader delivery of plans; benefits and value in the projects 
  • Ensure there is a key link between workstream plans and quantifiable benefits & delivery which can be reported upon with clarity and simplicity.
  • Support Head of TO & Transformation Director with total transformation plan ensuring optimal sequencing; milestone delivery and tracking of interdepencies and enablers 
  • Assigned to lead/support key joint Strategic/Transformation projects
  • Lead day to day transformation; heading up a team of c.2 members with a focus on driving towards delivery of project milestone and outcomes 
  • Ensure our data collection system is reliable and traceable providing the level of detail to track progress of plans (stage gates); targets (financial; commercial; customer and colleague metrics) 
  • Construct and present KPI trajectories to support delivery of key workstream outcomes/KPIs 


Skills & experience required:

  • Experience of performing a similar role within a major FTSE 250 organisation or comparable organisation, or experience of delivering the requirements of this role across multiple clients as a member of a top tier professional services (consulting) firm.
  • The ability to communicate change effectively across the whole business, communicating organisational strategic goals explaining rationale and role modelling a range of influencing styles to interact with all business functions
  • A key focus for achieving results, interpreting strategic objectives and making tough decisions to deliver the right change to provide a clear framework for delivery
  • A high level of business acumen, commercially viewing the organisation at an enterprise level to understand opportunities and threats across the external market and the interdependencies of functions to maximise opportunity.
  • A strong customer focus reinforcing the customer first, understanding future markets, customer behaviours and requirements to influence strategy
