The Insight & Customer Experience team plays a central role within the Dixons Carphone organisation in providing an expert view on initiatives, strategies and activities across all parts of the business, giving inputs and recommendations that go far beyond simply reporting what the numbers say. We’re looking for a confident and adaptable individual to help bring the insight and customer strategy to life.


Key responsibilities:

Customer panel

  • Responsible for scoping, drafting and delivering ad hoc quantitative and qualitative projects using the team’s customer panel.
  • Managing projects end-to-end to ensure successful delivery and input to the business of customer feedback and viewpoints on key business issues.
  • Management of the agency that runs the panel, including budget supervision


Customer profiling

  • Supporting the introduction of the new customer profiling datasets for CPCW and CPW into the business and working with key stakeholders to create meaningful and actionable outputs for the datasets.
  • Responsible for scoping and utilising the customer profiling datasets to respond to ad hoc business requests on key customer groups.
  • Identifying gaps in our audience understanding and designing approaches to address these


Voice of Customer

  • Working with other members of the insight team to analyse and incorporate the ongoing Voice of Customer (NPS) programme data to highlight key pain points and generate actionable insights to assist in bringing the voice of Dixons Carphone customers into business decision making.
  • You will be responsible for the smooth running of these programmes and ensuring that sample management and reporting is timely, reliable and actionable


Key skills and experience required:

  • Understanding or experience of retail (store and online), consumer electronics or telecoms sector desirable.
  • Confidence when delivering results to an audience, and the ability to articulate ‘data’ in a way that resonates with the audience.
  • Comfortable with working with different datasets, and an ability to independently analyse key datasets to identify the main relevant findings.
  • Experience scoping, designing and briefing projects and surveys to meet stakeholders needs.
  • An analytical and methodical approach to working with datasets and results to ensure actionable outcomes from projects.
