Insurance Oversight and Assurance Manager

Dixons Carphone Contact Centre, 

Kelvin Close, Birchwood, WA3 7PB  

Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm, permanent, salary negotiable

As the Insurance Oversight and Assurance Manager you’ll play a critical role in the end to end customer experience policies and procedures pre and post-sale, ultimately ensuring that we operate compliantly with FCA and CBI guidelines. 


As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:   


  • Managing Team Knowhow and Carphone Warehouse post sale customer experience policies and procedures. 
  • Delivering and managing regulatory training for Prescribed Script Functions and new entrants. 
  • Providing oversight and governance to all financial service interactions whilst seeking to Improve efficiency and automating wherever possible. 
  • Overseeing Team Knowhow training and competence scheme whilst maintaining comprehensive records and to provide Qualified Person supervision In line with the requirements of the ROI Minimum Competency Code. 


You will need: 


  • A recognised qualification that meets the requirements of the ROI Minimum Competence Scheme ( please see the below list for the recognised qualifications) 
  • Experience of working In a regulated environment. 
  • A structured, logical and analytical mind with the ability to think pragmatically and propose solutions. 


Recognised qualifications: 


  • Associate or Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute. 
  • Certified Insurance Practitioner (The Insurance Institute of Ireland) 
  • Accredited Product Advisor (Personal General Insurance) (Institute of Banking School of Professional Finance, LIA and the Insurance Institute of Ireland) 
  • Solicitor Member of the Law Society of Ireland. 
  • Barrister-at-Law called to the Bar of Ireland. 
  • Accredited Product Professional (Personal General Insurance) ( National College of Ireland)
