HR Business Partner - LONDON

 

Capable and committee colleagues are our greatest asset. This role works in partnership with the appropriate managers/senior managers to design and implement the annual People Plan for the business area
 

 

You will:

  • Delivering efficient and high-quality operational HR support to your business areas ensuring this follows legislative/best practice as well as the evolving needs of the business
  • Lead and deliver the focused people initiatives with a clear link to delivering the people plan, business strategy and business performance in your business areas.
  • Provide support to the business area/s on all people related matters, providing information and advice in line with or HR policies, relevant legislation and best practice.
  • Work closely with the HR team, the centres of excellence and the business to develop innovative approaches to building an enhanced culture of employee engagement.
  • Work closely with management and colleagues to improve morale, retention and overall service levels amongst our colleagues
  • Measuring and analysing HR performance for your business areas, identifying trends or issues and working with the leadership teams to address as appropriate
  • Be an active Ambassador for HR, influencing and supporting the business plans and keeping HR at the forefront of business decisions
  • Coach managers in relation to all people agenda focuses and support them as appropriate, delivering change in line with Company vision
  • Support and drive the focus on development and upskilling of the store teams (in conjunction with L&D team as appropriate) to create and maintain a highly skilled workforce and an environment of continuous learning.
  • Work with the business to develop a culture of proactive and positive performance management to develop overall capability
  • Work with business area to ensure workforce and succession planning is effective and in place, providing clarity around career paths
  • Develop a strong understanding of your business areas and build effective positive working relationships with your management teams.

You will need:

  • Demonstrable relationship management experience at all levels of the organisation
  • Experience of implementation of people plans in a fast paced environment
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of employment law and implementation in a commercial environment 
  • Experience of the relevant business function may be required
