All this to ensure we connect with our customers in a meaningful way, being the most helpful partner for their tech needs. The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the management, optimisation and execution of our personalised communications to our customers.

We are passionate about technology, and the eyes and ears of the customer, our role is to champion customer insight across the business to deliver a true customer centric CRM programme working closely with Customer Data, Analytics & Insight teams as well as Agencies, Commercial Categories & Services teams. Collaboration and being a competent and mindful team player is absolutely crucial, whilst also being comfortable with owning and maintaining relationships and projects with key senior stakeholders.


As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:


  • Supporting operational campaign delivery through email technical and design through to deployment to maximise the customer lifecycle value that delivers to the email objectives.
  • Leading the planning, creation and deployment of effective trade driving and lifecycle email communications that drive the group’s email strategy.
  • Reviewing our email design system and workflow function to find efficiencies and improvements in the process.
  • Championing advanced personalisation in email by working closely with our data and personalisation partners.


Desired Skills & Experience:


  • Excellent working knowledge of HTML/CSS and strong knowledge of email development techniques
  • Strong experience in implementation of responsive design and mobile first marketing.
  • Experience of testing, proofing and troubleshooting emails.
  • Experience working with a major ESP, preferably Adobe Campaign.
  • Good working knowledge of the following applications: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver.
