Due to the unprecedented growth online, we have an exciting opportunity for an E-commerce Manager to join our team, working on our innovative & market leading retail brands.

This role will be responsible for implementing our growth strategy, managing the end to end consumer journey for Ireland’s largest electrical and technology retailer e-commerce platform currys.ie, with a clear focus on driving incremental sales and growing market share. In addition, taking ownership of the strategy and relaunch of the CarphoneWarehouse.ie platform.

  • Implement our growth focused strategy that ensures Currys.ie is the clear No.1 online Electronics and Technology retail in Ireland, driving sales and increasing average transaction value amongst new and existing customers.
  • Execute the end to end online customer journey, overseeing the day to day site merchandising, maintenance and optimisation for both websites.
  • Lead the strategic development and relaunch of the Carphone Warehouse platform.
  • Manage 3rd party vendors and the E-commerce marketing budget, ensuring the best value for money and highest possible rate of return for the business.
  • Effectively manage the E-commerce platform and operations over the peak trading period to ensure a smooth delivery of this critical time of the year. This includes extensive project management, ensuring the right level of resource is correctly trained to deliver a first-class customer experience.
  • Produce and circulate a meaningful monthly report, that shares the latest commercial update, competitor learnings, testing learnings and key actions for the following month.
  • 4 years’ plus experience in E-commerce role within a retail business would be of benefit
  • Experience of project management of large projects and planning
  • Proven track record of managing stakeholders, relationships management and of managing a team
  • A desire to understand and to create retail best practice online.
  • Experience of managing a budget and delivering the lowest cost without compromise sales
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience of web development technologies, a delivery and web service
  • Understanding of SEO and digital marketing.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a proven track record in delivering projects on time
