With 740 standalone stores in the UK and 75 in the Republic of Ireland, our Carphone Warehouse branches - found on high streets, major traffic routes, and in retail parks - offer customers the opportunity to compare great offers and contracts on mobile and tablet devices, with the widest choice of mobile networks. In-store, you’ll find our Customer Consultants, whose aim is to help customers understand and use the latest technology, and to help them find what’s right for them. Also in-store are our Geek Squad Agents, there to explain and guide customers through the latest techno-wizardry, making sure your new devices are accessible and effortlessly usable.
Carphone Warehouse SIS (Store-In-Store) are our newest format, built inside over 260 Currys PC World stores. With these all-in-one stores providing an extensive range of tech solutions from Carphone Warehouse, Currys, and PC World, customers will find a real end-to-end guide to their tech needs here, with everything from hardware and accessories to connections and content services.
Carphone Warehouse have teamed up with Samsung to offer consumers the Samsung Experience in 15 stores, with more due to open this year. Our colleagues here offer a wide range of the latest Samsung handsets and tech products, as well as offering live demonstrations and expert advice.
Dixons Travel is a leading airport electrical store, showcasing a host of gadgets, including tablets, headphones, cameras and Apple products. Our Travel stores are based in the fast-moving departure terminals of 13 airports in the UK and Republic of Ireland. That means that, across all our branches, our colleagues have to work quickly and expertly to offer tailored service matched to every traveller’s needs.
iD is the new mobile network powered by Carphone Warehouse, and there are currently 12 iD stores in the Republic of Ireland, with more to be rolled out. Here, you’ll help us provide incredible solutions for customers, offering devices and contracts on a more flexible, affordable and transparent network. Asking the right questions and listening carefully to the customers’ needs, you’ll help tailor their plans to their lives and make their customer experience something much more personal.
Joining us as one of our support functions colleagues, you’ll support teams across the business, so that we can all deliver great things for our customers. Supporting Dixons Carphone brands and operations across the UK, you’ll be determined to do great work in a fast-moving environment, so that we can connect our brand teams and embrace changing technology.
Support roles are primarily within in our Acton Support Centre, based in North Acton, London, and within our Ireland Support Centre, in the Republic of Ireland. Some support roles may also be field-based.

At the Knowhow Contact Centre our teams work together to put the customer first, every time, in an intensely energetic environment. With thorough training, our colleagues handle sales, technical support, and general customer service calls to make sure that all our customers can come to us for help and advice on tomorrow’s technology.
Our team in Sheffield are the nerve centre of our customers’ support journey, handling more than 175,000 calls per week and generating more than £40 million a year in home delivery sales.
Our modern facility on the outskirts of Sheffield city centre, based on the Supertram route, brings our colleagues together in a bright, modern, family-feel environment. Our Newark Distribution and Repair Centre is a record-breaker; the largest electrical repair centre in Europe, and the largest network of two-man deliveries in the UK.
At Newark, we do everything we can to improve the lives of our customers through excellent service. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and brilliant training, our repair technicians rise swiftly to some tough challenges: they can fix and return any given tech within seven days, with specialists across a wide range of technology. Meanwhile, our delivery teams handle an average of 50,000 deliveries and set-ups per week so that we can meet customer needs as quickly as possible.
It is also our multi-channel distribution site for stores and direct to customers in the UK and Ireland. It is where the central logistics team manages inbound and outbound planning of stock movement and the day-to-day warehouse functions across Branch, home delivery and direct shipping for the online channels. Operating within 1.5m sq. ft. of warehousing space, our logistics operations service around 7 million customers and make over 60,000 deliveries to stores per year. It's the largest employer in the Newark area.
