Joining us as one of our support functions colleagues, you’ll support teams across the business, so that we can all deliver great things for our customers. Supporting Dixons Carphone brands and operations across the UK, you’ll be determined to do great work in a fast-moving environment, so that we can connect our brand teams and embrace changing technology.

Support roles are primarily within in our Acton Support Centre, based in North Acton, London, and within our Ireland Support Centre, in the Republic of Ireland. Some support roles may also be field-based.

Acton Support Centre

Our brand new Support Centre in Acton is a vibrant hub of great colleagues, working hard to help us bring our values to life across the business. Putting their ideas together in an open, creative environment, they handle most of the support functions of Dixons Carphone, connecting all our colleagues across the UK and helping us creating one expert team across all our brands.

With open offices and a variety of different meeting areas and informal breakout spaces, the layout of the Acton Support Centre lets our colleagues work together in whatever way suits them. We embrace smart working, and in this flexible environment, we can break out of traditional meeting rooms, connect and create in new ways, and act together as one innovative team. That means everyone can make a difference, striving toward their personal and collective goals.

We want you to love what you do and where you do it. That’s why we’ve equipped the building with everything from a state-of-the-art gym, to a store and canteen, and even an onsite Starbucks, so that you can meet and work with colleagues in the ways that suit you.

Ireland

Ireland Support Centre

The Ireland Support Centre, located in Santry, Co. Dublin, supports the work of all our Dixons Carphone colleagues across Ireland, to help us create one connected team.

With over 120 employees working across a range of teams, the building’s open plan environment helps everyone stand together as one, in a flexible, creative environment. The team works with our colleagues in Carphone Warehouse, Currys PC World, and iD mobile, and makes sure that everyone is supported and connected across the business.

At the Ireland Support Centre, you’ll find roles in HR, Finance, Marketing, Commercial, Operations, IT, and Insurance, to name just a few of our teams.

Whether it’s answering customer queries, providing the perfect tech solution, repairing hardware, or setting up brand new products, you’ll bring your all to delivering great work every time. Services roles are based across the UK, with a variety of roles in our contact centres in Sheffield, Preston, Warrington and Loughborough as well as in our Newark Distribution and Repair Centre, and our Customer Service Centres (CSCs) across the UK.

Sheffield Contact Centre

At the Team Knowhow Contact Centre our teams work together to put the customer first, every time, in an intensely energetic environment. With thorough training, our colleagues handle sales, technical support, and general customer service calls to make sure that all our customers can come to us for help and advice on tomorrow’s technology.

Our team in Sheffield are the nerve centre of our customers’ support journey, handling more than 175,000 calls per week and generating more than £40 million a year in home delivery sales.

Our modern facility on the outskirts of Sheffield city centre, based on the Supertram route, brings our colleagues together in a bright, modern, family-feel environment. We offer a great career framework and a local bonus scheme that can see your earnings rise every six months, depending on your performance. Most importantly, we’re one of the few contact centres of our size with absolutely no ‘cold calling’, purely dealing with inbound calls.

Warrington Contact Centre

At our Warrington Contact Centre you’ll find our third-party insurance team. Putting the customer first, this resilient 100-strong team provides more than two million people with the best possible experience. Every day, they’re always pushing to make that service even better.

The team at Warrington see teamwork as the key to everyone’s success, and their constant hard work is rewarded with some great career progression opportunities. The team aims to provide excellent service across the board, from insurance to claims management to administrative support for clients in the financial sector.

Preston Contact Centre

Our centre in Preston is packed with our Team Knowhow on-call experts, handling technical support calls, diagnostic repairs, insurance triage, and technical support for third party clients.

Preston is also the home to Insurance Compliance, Customer Experience, and the Carphone Warehouse CEO team, who work to manage executive complaints and queries, and to make sure customers are taken care of across the business.

The centre handles calls every day of the year and Team Knowhow offers a 24/7 service to solve even the most difficult technical problems, day or night. That means our centre in Preston has to be committed to embracing every challenge, always a step ahead in providing excellent service for our customers.

In Preston, you’ll find roles in Technical Support, Diagnostic Repairs, Customer Complaints, and Insurance Sales Compliance.

Loughborough Contact Centre

Our Loughborough team focus on CPW Online Solutions (OLS); our award-winning e-commerce business, which includes both our Mobiles.co.uk and e2save.com brands. The OLS division also supports the wider Dixons Carphone group across functions including telesales sales campaigns, iD Mobile operations, and account management for a number of high-profile partners.

The 200-strong team specialises in commercial, trading, marketing and technology functions, as well as being home to customer-facing teams who handle correspondence by phone, email and social media. Energetic and prepared for changing times, the team ensures that that every customer has a great experience, and they handle over a million orders and contacts every year.

At the centre in Loughborough, you’ll find a diverse range of roles in Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Commercial and Marketing.

Newark Distribution and Repair Centre

Our Newark Distribution and Repair Centre is a record-breaker; the largest electrical repair centre in Europe, and the largest network of two-man deliveries in the UK.

At Newark, we do everything we can to improve the lives of our customers through excellent service. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and brilliant training, our repair technicians rise swiftly to some tough challenges: they can fix and return any given tech within seven days, with specialists across a wide range of technology. Meanwhile, our delivery teams handle an average of 50,000 deliveries and set-ups per week so that we can meet customer needs as quickly as possible.

It is also our multi-channel distribution site for stores and direct to customers in the UK and Ireland. It is where the central logistics team manages inbound and outbound planning of stock movement and the day-to-day warehouse functions across Branch, home delivery and direct shipping for the online channels. Operating within 1.5m sq. ft. of warehousing space, our logistics operations service around 7 million customers and make over 60,000 deliveries to stores per year. It's the largest employer in the Newark area.

Poole – Carphone Warehouse Business

The team at Poole focus on our business-to-business brand, Carphone Warehouse Business. Our mission is to lead the way in both dealer and direct sales channels, with more than 130,000 customers.

Poole’s team of sixty are a close-knit team, supporting each other to achieve great results, even up against challenging tasks. Focussed on telesales, our colleagues offer expertly tailored solutions to a vast range of businesses. With a real dedication to thoughtful and efficient customer service, they always make sure their calls offer the right options at the best possible prices, to suit the customer’s needs.

Customer Service Centres

Joining our Team Knowhow CSC – made up of 1600 colleagues in 16 Customer Services Centres across the country – you’ll be determined to go further for our customers. Prepared for anything and ready for change, you’ll create great experiences, whether it’s answering queries, providing perfect tech solution, repairing hardware, or setting up a customer’s brand new product.

Our Drivers, Installers and Engineers are the first line of our service offering, constantly striving to deliver the highest level of customer service whilst also building on their strong technical expertise, for the benefit of the customer.

Our colleagues enter three million homes a year, delivering a wide range of Electrical, White Goods and Gas installation services. So, you’ll find roles at various levels within each CSC, from Drivers and Installation Experts, to Home Appliance Repair Engineers through to First Line Managers and CSC Site Managers.
