The successful candidate will be confident handling large volumes of data, drawing out trends and using commercial insight to influence the customer proposition.

ID Mobile is the fast-growing mobile network of the Dixons Carphone group.  This role sits at the heart of the ID trading team and is key in us keeping existing ID customers as long as possible.

This is a newly created role responsible for collating and presenting data and customer insight to generate ideas and propositions that keep customers on the iD network as long as possible. This role is accountable for providing the insight required to reduce customer churn, and requires a highly numerate and analytical individual with commercial experience.

 

You will:

  • Produce weekly reporting of handset upgrade and disconnection (churn) performance.
  • Review and analyse commercial and trading activity and measure the impact
  • Manage the recommended handset deals for each customer segment
  • Work closely with CRM and web teams to ensure key propositions these are reflected and aligned across channels.
  • Use returning customer base insight to highlight opportunities and risks to forecasted performance
  • Keep a detailed log of key changes and initiatives and record the impact over time.
  • Update and refine customer segments to ensure these accurately reflect customer behaviour and remain suitable for customers approaching the end of their contract.

 

You will need:

  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Advanced analytical skills and across the following applications: Microsoft Excel, Business Objects (or similar), SQL server (or similar).
  • Collaborative approach and good relationship builder
