Trade ins is a key part of the Team Knowhow product portfolio and is a category that spans across CPW and CPCW. Our core offer is to give customers the best value for working or non working products supported by a trade in price promise and supplier funded promotions. We use trade in as a promo tool to drive product sales and generate additional profit exiting the stock through our value chain.

As the Trade-Ins Analyst, you will be responsible for optimising our pricing across all channels and ensuring that Trade-Ins devices are exited via the most commercially viable route. You will need to support the Trade-Ins Category Manager to ensure we are making the right investment decisions for our Trade-Ins margin and delivering incremental value for CPW and CPCW categories.

You will:

  • Manage our Trade in pricing strategy and dynamics to ensure we remain competitive in the market and optimise exit stock margin

  • Liaise with categories to develop market leading trade in propositions which drive incremental value for the business

  • Analyse and report on trade-ins commercial performance against budget

  • KPI Management – understanding the commercial aspects of Trade-Ins and identify opportunities for growth.

  • Understand the strategic direction set by Dixon Carphone’s senior management team to help identify, develop and deliver the Trade-Ins services strategy.

  • Work closely with the Trade-Ins Category Manager to ensure that business case benefits/ROI are achieved on investments.

  • Be responsible for any other ad hoc duties that may arise which are required for the role.
