Technical Support Advisor

Team Knowhow Contact Centre, Sheffield

Permanent, 35-45 hours per week

Monday-Friday 8am-8pm Saturday 8am-8pm and Sunday 8am-6pm

£9.18 per hour plus benefits
 

Take one-part premier customer service, add one-part tech fanatic, mix well with equal parts style, experience and humour. What do you get? Technical Support Advisor.  As the first point of contact for our customers’ needs you’ll be the friendly voice to provide first line technical support on a variety of products TV’s, laptops and soundbars.  You’ll need to listen to our customers and use your technical expertise, knowledge and passion to help resolve their technological problems. It takes respect, humility and someone who cares about giving our customers the highest level of service possible.

 

Ideally you will have a technical background however we provide full comprehensive training together with an ongoing guidance and support throughout your career with Dixons Carphone, meaning you’ll be equipped with the skills required to deliver a memorable service to our customers.

 

Skills required:


• Excellent listening and communication skills
• A logical thinker and problem solver.
• To be self-motivated, enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
• To be flexible, resilient and the ability to handle change
• A willingness to learn and keep your technology up to date• Outstanding customer service. Questioning, listening and building rapport to ensure your clients query is fixed first time effectively and efficiently. 

• Strong technical expertise would be an advantage
• A good understanding of computing systems would be an advantage.
