Senior UX Architect

An exciting opportunity to join the User Experience team of the UK’s leading specialist electrical and telecommunications retailer and services company. Based in the company’s headquarters in London, the User Experience Architect will play a key role in driving a customer first approach, meeting our customer and commercial expectations.
The successful Snr UX Architect will be designing product experiences whilst working in a cross-functional, Agile team.The role will be working across the Currys PC World websites, with a range of cross-business and sector-specific initiatives.  We’re looking for energetic, passionate UX practitioners who enjoy sweating the detail.

Key Responsibilities

•    You will be responsible for ongoing user experience deliverables, including sitemaps, user journeys, scenarios, detailed task flows and wireframes. A natural problem solver
•    Conducting competitive analysis/heuristic reviews to feed into recommendations
•    Producing and maintaining prototypes
•    Delivering product specifications with a strong emphasis on responsive design
•    Maintain knowledge of best in class UX principles and be the lead in sharing this knowledge internally and externally
•    A/B testing, data analysis, wire framing, prototyping and providing continuous feedback to key stakeholders
•    An analytical and methodical approach to working with datasets and results to ensure actionable outcomes from projects.
•    Attention to detail when compiling and presenting information, with a mindful approach to delivering insight which remains grounded in proven figures and information.

Key skills & experience required

•    Expert in wireframing (Axure)
•    Ability to create prototyping to support an array of activities
•    Be well-versed in modern design research methods (remote and ethnographic)
•    Well-versed in either Design Thinking
•    A natural problem solver
•    Knowledge of web and mobile technologies and the implications these have on site and app design
•    Excellent portfolio showing experience with UX design across responsive web design
•    Degree in computer science, psychology or ergonomics
