This is a great opportunity for a highly numerate and commercially minded individual to assist in the strategic plans for the Sim Only, Prepay & Sim Free Commercial & Pricing Trading team and to develop the customer pricing propositions for all Retail, and Direct channels. Whilst maintaining a consistently high level of assessment and risk mitigation, balancing competing priorities. 

You’ll be reporting into the Senior Propositions Manager, assisting in leading a small team and interacting with many areas across the business. 

As part a Cross-Category team at DixonsCarphone, we’re sourcing someone who can take end to end ownership in the critical area of price and proposition development in a multi-channel environment. Ideally you’ll have proven experience of creating and implementing pricing and trading policies, be adept at influencing business partners and have delivered significant growth in profitability.

The ability to handle complex and at times conflicting priorities is absolutely essential.


You Will:

  • Assist the different Category Managers in defining the Pricing Strategy & Category Volume, Market Share and Profitability for Sim Only, Prepay and Sim Free
  • Network Mix management, ensuring that contractual obligations for volume, mix and MRCs are met and financial implications fully forecasted
  • Maintain and develop the New Launch Pricing Pack, Pricing Strategy & Margin Optimisation, Lifecycle and promotional plans for all categories
  • Work on Sim Only, Prepay & Sim Free Categories’ Trading & Commercial Strategy development, including channel growth plans
  • Work onQuarterly Proposition Planning
  • Conduct In-depth analysis of performance and communication to the wider team
  • Assess and mitigate risks through tier trading
  • Have end-to-end involvement in pricing decisions, from identifying competitor movements to recommending and implementing changes.

  • To be educated to degree level or equivalent
  • High commercial awareness and numeracy – critical to be able to deal with complex variables
  • Tenacity to drive the vision and goals of the business going forward
  • To be ambitious and energetic, with drive to sustainably grow the business
  • Previous Leadership experience in a fast paced dynamic and complex business
  • Collaborative working style comfortable with handling multiple stakeholders and conflict
  • To be highly skilled in Excel, Access and Business Objects
