The “Customer Go-to-Market Planning” team sits at the heart of Dixons Carphone’s ambition to help everyone enjoy amazing technology and make everyday better than ever.
 


In your day to day role you will be taking ownership and leading customer led strategies and concepts and turning them in to reality. You will be creating compelling campaigns from fast paced trading programmes through to new product and technology launches with increasingly data driven customer engagement plans. You will manage and execute your plans through a matrix of senior stakeholders and business functions by bring them along the journey. 

 

When your plan is in flight you will be responsible for providing data driven reporting on performance against KPIs, as well as recommendations in order to drive decisions which optimise your campaign and capturing learnings.

The purpose of this role is to lead the development, planning and execution of key marketing trade initiatives across both Currys PC World & Carphone Warehouse brands helping our customers enjoy amazing technology and driving profitable growth. You will work closely with key business functions including all customer communication channels and a matrix of stakeholders.

 

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:

 

  • Supporting in developing the annual trade plan strategy and approach, ensuring all plans focus around customer needs and wants.
  • Leading and developing our marketing trade plans across Peak (Christmas & January Sale), from strategy planning & scoping of key events and new initiatives to briefing marketing channels and commercial, through to execution of all key marketing activity that goes live over this period. 
  • Own and deliver marketing plans for any new product or technology launches over the Peak trading period. 
  • Owning the end to end process for delivering the plan, ensuring alignment with key Marketing departments, together with Commercial and Services teams. 
  • Lead and develop a team of 2.

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

 

  • Strategic thinker who can turn the Business strategy into clear marketing plans and promotions
  • Good level of commercial acumen
  • Creative approach to problem solving and ability to coach the team to a solution
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills to review data and provide recommendations/actions plans to drive sales, profit and cash
