The Senior Commercial Manager position is a leadership role within the commercial function of CWS. You’ll lead the new proposition design process, the product & commercial response for all new client tenders and identification of new service opportunities. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the proposition development process, creating a roadmap of new products and ensuring constant innovation
  • Create the commercial & proposition response for all large service tenders and lead the commercial negotiation process
  • Oversee the commercial & proposition response for “tier 2” service tenders
  • Obtain stakeholder approval for new proposition development investment
  • Meet with senior external client stakeholders during proposal stage
  • Ensure the commercial performance of existing accounts and/or propositions deliver against the original business case
  • Lead the identification of new commercial opportunities within existing accounts
  • In conjunction with commercial analysts, evaluate the value chain within each market
  • Proactively recommend new commercial opportunities within the market
  • Provide line management and leadership to a team of commercial managers

  • Strong cost benefit analysis & business casing experience
  • Advanced Influencing & negotiation skills
  • Expert level Commercial management skills and experience
  • Excellent Partner/stakeholder management skills
  • Expert Product/proposition development skills in B2B and/or B2C
