Senior Business Change Manager

To be able to deliver the significant transformation agenda we have a growing team of exceptionally talented Programme, Project & Change Management specialists who act as an internal management consultancy, supporting Executives and Directors to shape and deliver the strategic change portfolio for the UK & Ireland business across both the Dixons and Carphone Warehouse brands.

With this continued growth, the team are looking to hire a Senior Business Change Manager. This role reports directly into the Business Change Director and is an integral part of the Senior Leadership team.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage a team to deliver the successful adoption of change for the UK & Ireland business across both the Dixons and Carphone Warehouse brands.
  • Work with the Business Change Director to define the overall change management strategy to create a change portfolio that is aligned to the business strategy.
  • Enable the organisation to bring about, execute and embed strategic change and continuous improvement.
  • Work with the Programme Managers to ensure projects meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage.
  • Create a change culture where change management is a valued competency embedded within the organisation.
  • Focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures.
  • Encourage a cultural focus on recognising benefits realisation across the business, ensuring that change initiatives are underpinned by robust business cases and are delivered within quality, risk and cost tolerances.

You will have:
  • Extensive experience in shaping and implementing change management principles and methodologies.
  • Proven ability as a leader in a complex organisation, especially where high levels of customer focus and stakeholder engagement are involved.
  • Successful implementation of strategic projects delivering substantial improvements both financially and operationally.
  • Proven experience of performing a similar role within a major FTSE 250 organisation or comparable organisation, or has experience of delivering the requirements of this role across multiple clients as a member of a top tier professional services (consulting) firm.
  • Recognised change management qualification or equivalent experience.
