Due to exciting expansion in the business, we currently have multiple opportunities for driven and ambitious Project Managers (at all levels of experience) to work for Dixons Carphone UK’s Business Change function.  Our Business Change operates as an internal consultancy, shaping and delivering the strategic portfolio for the UK & Ireland business across both the Dixons and Carphone Warehouse brands. Project Managers will lead customer-facing projects that introduce new and improved capability into our channels such as the development of our award-winner Pin Point assisted sales tool or drive the development of long-term capability in partnership with our IT colleagues on major transformation projects like building a Single Customer View or our HR transformation programme. Project Managers will also hold responsibility in shaping and defining our new Services business, which is an extremely unique opportunity. You will:

  • Lead the development of a change project to realise the key capability requirements of the future operating model, with a 1 to 3 year delivery horizon
  • Deliver change into the organisation through the application of ‘best in class’ project, programme and change management
  • Own project stakeholder relationships and engage the business more broadly with project communications
  • Play an active role in continuously improving the engagement and performance of the team
  • Establish and sustain an effective governance framework to ensure the appropriate level of oversight and control is in place across their project
  • Co-ordinate the definition and delivery of detailed business requirements through collaboration with the business, IT and other 3rd parties
  • Take ownership for key project deliverables (such as the plan and budget) across the project lifecycle and applies appropriate methodologies to support the achievement of wider project aims and objectives

You will need:

  • Experience of delivering complex, large-scale programmes, managing multiple teams and reporting to senior stakeholders. 
  • A background of working within  fast-paced, consumer focused organisations such as Retail, FMCG, Telco or Technology, as Dixons Carphone operates in a very dynamic market and consumer landscape.
  • Ideally have  previous experience working in at a “big four” consultancy, other major consultancy or within an internal consulting team in a “blue chip” organisation.
