Trade ins is a key part of the Team Knowhow product portfolio and is a category that spans across CPW and CPCW. Our core offer is to give customers the best value for working or non working products supported by a trade in price promise and supplier funded promotions. We use trade in as a promo tool to drive product sales and generate additional profit exiting the stock through our value chain.


You will:

  • Create a market leading strategy for your service area, working cross functionally with internal and external stake holders to deliver and execute a multichannel service proposition. Develop new propositions, across all channels, pilot programmes and monitor results with robust analysis
  • Create collaborative annual plans in partnership with Team Knowhow. Including the creation of annual budgets, short term forecasts and report against these metrics on a weekly and periodic basis.
  • Work closely with the finance function and categories to create promotions relating to new devices, review the performance of these promotions, identifying changing trends in costs and highlighting opportunities to improve overall profitability.
  • Detailed margin control and analysis of Trade ins product performance, provide detailed profitability analysis, cost reviews and cost reconciliation at product level.
  • Manage the performance of the product range in line with Services commercial objectives.
  • Set recommended proposition pricing for channel partners with clearly defined terms and conditions.
  • Be instrumental in Third party supplier management and terms negotiation where the proposition requires it.
  • Direct line management for the Trade ins Category Analyst

 

You Will Need:

  • Strong commercial acumen, with good analytical skills
  • Excellent understanding of customer facing execution of commercial propositions and the ability to collaborate and land across all sales channels
  • Stakeholder management up to and including Directors: including strong influencing, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Systems requirements Excel – excellent Word/Powerpoint. Experience using   Business Objects or other data mining tools
