Description

The PMO Analyst will come in to define and implement portfolio/project and programme governance within our transformation organisation. This will include the management of finances, budgetary controls and governance. A key element of this role will be to become a SME in the use of Planview, working with the project and programme managers to support the function in getting things done.

You will:

  • Facilitates governance/portfolio meetings.
  • Develop and maintain the management dashboard.
  • Support the Compliance & Methodology Manager on reviewing/validating Status Reports.
  • Maintain a Resource Capacity plan with KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain the Portfolio Dependencies and Risk Register.
  • Review post-stage Gated Reviews and Improvements plans to ensure key strategic plans are delivered and defined best practise is being followed.
  • Support programme managers on overall portfolio/programme Milestone and finance tracking and third party billing processes.
  • Support programme managers with PMO best practise.
  • Liaise with the Finance team regarding monitoring of financial spend and timing/support for audits.

You will have:

  • Experienced in Project Management Office tools and techniques 
  • Experienced with the Admin of an EPM tool (Planview) and techniques
  • Experience working on a PMO role
  • Preferably educated to degree level
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Execl.
  • Experienced in creating PowerPoint presentations for a wide audience.
  • Preferably familiar with P30 model of running successful Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices.
  • Extensive knowledge of business and business functions, in more than one business sector, and understands the significance of commercial constraints.
