This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing UK Direct Sales Team here at Dixons Carphone!

This role will be responsible for working with our Strategic Partner Manager(s) to increase sales, margin and profitability across key strategic customer relationships/partnerships across all channels in B2B and B2C. The jobholder will build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all functions to embed these strategic partners into everyday life across the group.

You will:

  • Be responsible for creating growth plans with Strategic Partner Managers for all identified high opportunity customers
  • Work with all functions including IT, commercial, marketing, retail, e-commerce, finance and customer services to document all processes used across strategic partner relationships
  • Agree project plans with Strategic Partner Managers to simplify, automate and improve all processes used across strategic partner relationships
  • Deliver key activity’s from growth and project plans via all internal and external functions on time and on budget
  • Work directly with key contacts within our strategic partners business to drive sales, margin and efficiency. Take part in regular trading meetings and other key routines
  • Work with all sales channels to facilitate efficient processing of sales orders to ensure SLA’s are met and communication with our customers is strong
  • Work with all functions and channels to ensure logistics needs are met within SLA and all customer service queries are resolved within SLA in the most efficient way possible
  • Work with internal finance functions as well as our customers directly to ensure that credit and payment needs are met including the provision of credit facilities and recovery of debt within terms
  • Deputise for Strategic Partner Manager(s) when needed giving continuity to our partners
  • Deputise for Channel Sales Coordinator when needed giving continuity of service to all sales channels regarding logistics and stock movement

You will need: 

  • Excellent numeracy, literacy and IT skills across core office applications
  • Proven experience over a minimum of three years successfully working in a high performing team in regards to order fulfilment, customer services and SLA management
  • At least three years retail or project experience ideally within an IT or consumer electronics environment ideally with some B2B background or knowledge
  • A good level of ability in regards to building and maintaining working relationships with a wide internal and external stakeholders
  • An good level of knowledge in regards to the PC World Business proposition as well as the wider Dixons Carphone proposition
  • An excellent range of customer service and administrative skills as well as a good knowledge of processes used throughout PC World Business
  • An excellent level of knowledge across IT products and services as well as infrastructure, communications, consumer electronics and domestic appliances
  • An excellent level of knowledge across Microsoft Office applications including Excel
