Knowhow includes our consumer credit products which are available in store and through a range of other channels. The team are responsible for activities for developing the Credit product range, in line with commercial strategy, enabling attractive consumer ways to pay whilst meeting margin targets.

Reporting in to the Senior Commercial Operations Manager, the Senior Operations Development Manager (Credit & Pre Paid) is responsible for the operational development and effective delivery of the Dixons Carphone Commercial programmes.


You will:

  • Assisting with the strategy creation to support the development of the Credit program objectives identified
  • Lead the partnership with the relevant compliance and assurance functions to meet regulatory requirements associated with the product
  • Agreeing and implementing new business development for Credit & Prepaid in the relevant systems
  • Leading the delivery of operational requirements for Credit products
  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting/analysis produced within the credit operations team
  • Leading the delivery of promotional credit requirements to support commercial team
  • Leading the delivery of new projects relating to Credit
  • Delivering new reporting requirements and process documents
  • Leading the credit team to review and improve BAU process – presenting recommendations for a cleaner, more effective way of working
  • Leading the management of vendor relationships with Credit processer and supplier partners associated with the operational delivery of the Credit products
  • Map out & maintain latest customer/operational journeys with clear view of systems, processes and data flows for credit and prepaid
  • Prioritise and develop plans for operational optimisation & drive plans to deliver the initiative
  • Lead requirement gathering process and solution design for credit and Pre Paid
  • Improve commercial system resilience by holding supplier to account and govern/improve application performance
  • Develop and coach credit operations team


You will need:

  • Creating and leading strategic delivery programs
  • Operational performance management experience in a relevant environment
  • Programme Management experience
  • Working knowledge level of FCA Regulation
  • Experience of successfully managing matrix teams across group functions
