Operational Improvement Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement of operational customer Journeys across all channels that support the Ecommerce P&L. They are part of the Carphone Warehouse UK Online team and are key to improving Business Process Operations.

This is the chance to join a new and growing team within UK Online and you will be tasked with improving the day to day operations of our CPW.com business as our Process Operations Lead.

You will:

  • Be responsible to deliver key major change programs for the Ecomm Business
  • Have extensive and on-going interface with IT, Vendor Management, Outsourcing suppliers and any technology partner to ensure appropriate business requirements and needs are met.
  • Be responsible for post launch execution support to ensure the website and transactional journeys are as per design approval & solution build.
  • Gain approval of business change from stakeholders
  • Identify and define tangible online business solutions for CPW.com
  • Work independently in client facing situations as well as project teams in requirements, design, and development for new and improved processes

You will have:

  • The ability to think critically and strategically
  • Previous experience in a Business Process Operations role working on process improvement projects
  • Ability to analyse complex problems and deliver insightful and practical solutions
  • Strong communication skills – be able to build strong relationships with internal cross functional teams at all levels and external stakeholders
  • Experience in delivering significant scale quality, costs and service improvements
  • A proven track record in process development
