DESCRIPTION

The Insight Analyst – User Experience is predominantly accountable for supporting three teams within eCommerce - User Experience, Multichannel Strategy & Development and the management team in understanding the financial and behavioural impact of changes to the multichannel experience on the currys.co.uk and pcworld.co.uk websites

 

The Insight Analyst will primarily utilise web analytics (Adobe Analytics, Decibel Insight) and business intelligence software, either analysing data within the tools or extracting it for use in more flexible software such as Microsoft Excel, R, Python or Google Big Query. The Insight Analyst will communicate their findings through a variety of mediums including written presentations, emails, automated dashboards and face to face communication.

 

You Will:

 

•    Use quantitative analysis tools to analyse and understand visitor traffic sources, user behaviour, flow, conversion drivers and more
•    Use qualitative analysis tools (session replay, heatmaps, voice of customer) to determine how to improve the multichannel experience
•    Ad hoc analysis of acquisition, behaviour and conversion performance, providing context to the drivers of business performance. This will expose the analyst to wider areas of the business.
•    You will work with several project owners, business analysts and developers to deliver the analysis framework that enables required insights into financial impact and user behaviour changes.
•    You will standardise analysis methodologies, bringing efficiency, uniformity and timeliness to required insights.
•    You will combine multiple data sources into custom reports and dashboards, that diagnose problems and provide actionable insights, meeting stakeholder requirements.
•    You will perform conversion funnel analysis, investigation of anomalies and identification of causal factors, identification of customer fallout and optimisation opportunities.
•    You will produce insights that are easily understood by an audience with a wide range of data/analytics understanding, creating powerful stories to influence decisions.
•    Champion a data-driven culture in all situations.

 

You Need:

 

• Excellent use of advanced numerical and analytical skills, capable of using multiple data sources to analyse complex problems, identifying cause and effect and delivering insightful and practical solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, and collaboration with a team of peers.
• Excellent attention to detail, both in analysis and in communication.
• Excellent reasoning.
• Highly organised with strong planning skills to ensure delivery of timely and accurate analysis supporting the development of ecommerce, whilst managing stakeholder expectations.
