Process Owner - Recruitment

In depth knowledge of industry best in class Hire 2 Retire processes as the focus of the role is to  own the end to end process for Hire 2 Retire, and thereby supports the domain leadership in ensuring that processes are correctly documented and adhered to. Will work closely with Head Office HR SME’s and will liaise with Retail Colleagues and Technology  Application Architects to ensure processes are efficiently and appropriately enabled by technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Key role as part of the design authority that governs any changes to process and technology and co- chairs the HR Change Board ensuring all requests are correctly sponsored, scoped, authorised and subsequently managed. 
  • Establish and sustain an effective governance framework to ensure the appropriate level of oversight and control is in place across H2R activities
  • Build detailed plans for joint sign off by CBS / HR Exec to form strategic change initiatives for Hire 2 Retire 
  • Work in collaboration with project sponsors, HR SMEs, HRBPs, Retail colleagues, CBS colleagues, etc to ensure shared ownership for the delivery of project outcomes; in particular with  business owners and also with Finance to ensure capability outcomes and financial reporting of project benefits
  • Ensure the process taxonomy is up to date and accurately reflects the true nature and needs of the business 
  • Lead complex cross-functional process  change into the organisation through the application of ‘best in class’ project, programme and change management
  • Lead the development of Hire 2 Retire projects to realise the key capability requirements of the future operating model.
  • Co-ordinate the definition and delivery of detailed business requirements through collaboration with the business, Technology, outsource providers and other 3rd parties
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Business Change and play an active role in positively shaping how business change capabilities are perceived by the wider business
  • Defines key data structures and governance required to support the business process. Liaison with Success Factors Team and also Data Governance in relation to all GDPR requirements for recruitment and onboarding.
  • Reviews existing processes for compliance, issues and potential innovation opportunities 
  • Supports the relationship with key vendors, e.g. outsource vendors, and key technology providers 
  • Work with CBS leads to build detailed performance monitoring dashboards of all aspects of H2R and lead monthly review sessions
  • Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives identified through performance reviews of Third Party suppliers both Captive (Brno ) and Outsourced (Capita)

Skills & Experience

  • Subject Matter expert in HR Relevant System Experience (e.g. SAP, SuccessFactors, Ariba)
  • Good working relationship with the SME’s within the business 
  • Experience defining business process (SOP’s)
  • Data Structures knowledge within process area
