We are a technology-enabled retail business that has grown very rapidly to become the largest retailer of TV, broadband and home phone deals, via our network of business partners who rely on our sales platform to sell to their customers.  These partners number over fifty, including Dixons Carphone (who recently acquired us in 2016), The Telegraph, USwitch, SAGA, Cable and Broadband Genie etc.

In 2016 we were acquired by Dixons Carphone and now operate as a fully autonomous business unit (Multiplay), reporting into the UK and Ireland trading division, which has been identified as key to delivering the next stage of Dixons Carphone’s growth.

Reporting to the Multiplay Trading Director, this role leads the Multiplay Online team which is responsible for all TV, Phone and HBB package sales made via various online channels.  Online is a key component of the overall Multiplay category, currently delivering c.5% of Multiplay market share and is budgeted to deliver rapid sales and revenue growth

You will:

  • Lead on delivery, forecast and optimisation of Multiplay Online sales, revenues and profit targets covering channels: SimplifyDigital, Carphone Warehouse, Dixons and White Label partners
  • Define the Online sales strategy to deliver long term sustainable growth for each sales channel and build the operational plans to deliver
  • Have top level accountability for each Multiplay Online channel, including the building of personal relationships with key, senior influencers and management of the internal and external partners
  • Lead on delivery of our new Online platform, working closely with the Technology team
  • Review areas trading performance weekly with channel owners, identifying key business drivers, insights and actions required to improve performance
  • Drive a new business focused approach, constantly looking for new opportunities to develop Online and bringing on board new White Label partners

You will need:

  • Previous experience in a Head of or Senior Online Trading Manager role
  • Proven line management experience of an online sales or trading team
  • A Digital background, gained in a commercial fast moving sector
  • Strong negotiation, relationship building, communication and influencing skills
  • To be passionate about e-commerce and the customer experience
  • Strong commercial accumen and a Digital Marketing background
