As the Head of Marketing for White Goods you’ll work with our suppliers to unlock multi-million pound opportunities to grow the category. The key to this roles success is an in-depth understanding of the category; foresights as to how existing customers and prospects will be buying in the future and then creating, developing and ultimately overseeing the execution of world-class marketing strategies to deliver pre-agreed numbers. A strong understanding of digital marketing is key.

You’ll own & develop the Marketing Plan for the category, working seamlessly across the different functions within Marketing & outside and influence the category buying teams based on customer insight.

Key responsibilities:

  • You’ll be responsible for creating world-class relationships with Suppliers and the Commercial teams
  • You’ll understand the insights, trends and foresights for my category
  • To create, develop and then oversee the execution of world-class marketing strategies to deliver pre-agreed numbers
  • Own, develop and deliver the Marketing Plan for my category
  • To be a marketing champion within the marketing function, a leader / Coach and mentor to develop capabilities within the team

Key skills and experience required:

  • Proven track record of creating, developing and overseeing world-class marketing strategies, ideally within White Goods or Consumer Electronics
  • Robust commercial understanding
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills with best-in-class stakeholder management
  • Strong understanding of Digital Marketing
  • Outstanding leadership and influencing skills
  • Strategic and analytical thinker
