As the Formats, Fixtures & Fittings Senior Manager you’ll lead the Store Formats, Commercial Initiatives and Fixture & Fittings function to deliver the end to end Format Development and Commercial delivery service to all parts of the Dixons Carphone Warehouse group. You’ll provide branded changes to the store environment through highly commercial solutions and governed by clear Format guidelines that meet the Group’s requirements.  You’ll lead the team in developing industry leading fixture and fitting design through creating close collaborative working relationships with Commercial, Retail and Brands to enable right first-time delivery.


Key responsibilities:

  • Formats: You’ll lead the future Format development strategy across all brands for the UK & Ireland, ensuring that the UK&I business is Format efficient across all concept developments and solutions across the group. You’ll build a Format development strategy that works alongside the commercial plan and designed to grow the instore experience
  • Commercial Initiatives: Lead the approach of aligning branded relationships to ensure the business is first to market of key brand launches. Own the commercial in store activity by driving the Commercial Initiative team in landing ‘right first time’
  • Fixture & Fittings: Design and delivering all change to the store environment and customer experience across the group brands for Dixons CPW. Lead full conceptual design for format, fixtures & fitting and Signage


Key skills and experience:

  • Exceptional knowledge of Format / Space planning / Space insight / commercial strategy
  • Strong leadership and influencing ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable with building relationships at all levels and leading forums
  • Strong commercial awareness and appreciation of customer needs
  • Space and financial analysis ability, enabling the use of data in problem solving and decision making
  • Proven track record of leading change and innovation
