The jobholder will provide impactful Finance Business Partnering to the Repairs Operations Team (in Newark) and Contact Centre teams (in Sheffield, Preston and Warrington). If you have a proven track record of delivering high quality results then this role may be for you!


You will:


  • Provide financial analysis and insight to support key operational transformation programmes
  • Drive value through identification, development and exploitation of business opportunities
  • Develop and deliver business cases for investments to support the programmes
  • Ensure risks and opportunities are identified and mitigated where required
  • Ensure that financial processes (for accounting, financial planning and reporting) are developed to be fit for purpose; supporting management and setting out clearly and objectively the performance and issues
  • Bringing clarity to Financial Reporting, consolidating information from different systems and different P&Ls to present a comprehensive, consistent and authoritative view of the numbers
  • Advise on  the financial accounting implications of new revenue streams and transactions, seeking guidance where necessary and ensuring optimal treatments are implemented 


You will need:


  • Strong academics and be a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent), with post-qualification experienced gained within a commercial organisation.
  • Robust business partnering experience - able to support, challenge and influence Services Operations Director – helping navigate through business and Finance processes.
  • Effective Stakeholder management experience - able to manage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication Skills -able to communicate with senior stakeholders to articulate complex messages in a compelling manner via all means of communication.
  • Business case development - able to combine rigorous modelling with clear and concise communication.
  • Advanced problem solving skills - able to analyse and understand complex issues to facilitate recommendations on optimal solutions.
  • A Track record of delivering end to end solutions in a planned and controlled manner.
