As the Team KnowHow Digital Ops and Capability Manager you will lead operational activities and drive continuous improvement to develop best in class digital capability. Ensuring that a clear approach is in place, followed and continuously improved within various areas across the Services digital function you will be the key link between the team and other business areas. 

This is an opportunity to report into the Chief Digital Officer and work on an exciting newly launched website and proposition.

You will:

  • Take control of the day to day management of the digital budget across Opex and Capex. Ensuring visibility, commitment tracking, optimisation, issue resolution and general management.
  • Lead investment and change management process on behalf of the digital function within the Dixon Carphone process. Ensuring all governance, compliance and regulatory obligations are successfully considered.
  • Provide active project and activity visibility, assessment and recommendations across the function to ensure maximum business value and resource allocation and utilisation
  • Ensure the team is focused against strategic goals and minimising waste through effective prioritisation and budget management.
  • Define and implementan appropriate people strategy to ensure we always have easy access to the best digital talent at the right cost and have a fit for purpose approach to enable individuals to be the best they can be.


You will need:

  • Previous experience in an Operations and Capability/ Strategy Portfolio Management role
  • A strong understanding of Digital methodologies and ways of working
  • Previous experience of Project management; as well as Budget and financial benefits management
  • Advanced commercial awareness and appreciation of customer service needs
  • Strategic and Analytical thinking with the ability to work with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Previous Experience of working in an agile digital environment in a corporate organisation is essential 
  • Excellent communication skills, used to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders – in particular around the group
