We are looking for a Data Steward to be responsible for Data Protection/ GDPR adherence and implementation and delivery of our processes to ensure they are in line with both the Dixon Carphone values and UK & Europe legislations

Key Responsibilities
•    To make sure knowledge of Data Protection requirements as set out within Dixons Carphone and GDPR
•    Support all Data Protection activities within Group Financial Services
•    Ensure related documentation is produced as requirements for the Data Protection compliance 
•    Provide oversight of Data Protection activity and compliance status within Group Financial Service to the business
•    Ensure that requests for change in processes are reviewed, supported and uploaded onto One Trust
•    Provide direction and apply a risk based and co-ordinated approach to Data Protection in conjunction with the overarching Data protection policy framework 
•    Developing and delivering local communications and awareness of Data Protection 
•    Work closely with the Data Protection Officer(s) and other Data Protection Champions to ensure uniform approach to data protection
•    Carry out data inventory reviews and maintain accuracy of inventory using One Trust
•    Carry out Data Protection Impact Assessments
•    Review Data Protection risks and determine actions and mitigations 
•    Monitor the implementation of risk actions and mitigations, ensuring that all actions are documented and recorded in the Data Protection register for Group Financial Services
•    Network with other Data Privacy Champions to drive best practice and continuous improvement 
•    Be the ‘go to’ person for data protection and the GDPR programme and for Group Financial Services
