The Data Operations Analyst will be responsible for data services and data management capabilities made available to our business users. Working within our Data Management Team, you will be responsible for the design and operationalisation of enterprise wide data capabilities to ensure data supports our business priorities, customer experience and compliance obligations


You will:


• Team:
• Plans, Leads & coordinates with a team of data analysts to support the discovery and documentation of data in the organisation
• Build a new capability to manage data assets through their lifecycle from acquisition to purge
• Works closely with Data Governance and Data development teams


Change & Stakeholder management:
• Consults with the business, where data management is occurring locally, on best-practice approach to monitoring and resolving data issues
• Introduces and embeds new processes where necessary to manage data more effectively
• Ensure business users have confidence in the reliability of Master data domains


Process Design & management:
• Implement effective Data processes, governance and auditing, aligned with company policies, in order to ensure current gaps are rectified
• Carry out root cause analysis to identify current deficiencies and areas for improvement regarding data being processed


DQ & reporting:
• Mature Data management KPI definition and reporting (including trend analysis and insight)
• Establish data steward network in the business to support in the definition of business glossary and content for the data process register

 

You will need:


• Significant experience of data management practices and processes

• Has experience in managing a effective team

• Has managed and improved large data sets

• Strong communicator and influencer – builds and articulates a case for change

• Self-starting and proactive approach to service development

• Collaborative team playe

• Can work dynamically and at all levels – to get things done
