Customer Service Agent

Dixons Carphone Contact Centre, Kelvin Close, Birchwood, WA3 7PB

6 month fixed term contact, Monday-Friday plus 1 in 2 weekends

£16698 per year plus up to a 10% bonus

 

The role:

 

Your role will be to provide support to our client’s customers who wish to make a claim on their insurance. These customers already have the cover so there is no selling or upselling with this role.  You would be helping them with replacements phones, organising delivery and/or collection of phones when required as well as dealing with general enquiries.

 

Main duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Taking inbound calls from customers 
  • Processing customers’ requests and claims consistently and accurately applying internal process and procedures.
  • Be solution focused using your understanding to take ownership of a customer’s situation, following it through to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Be a brand ambassador, standing for and championing all Dixons Carphone values and qualities

 

Skills/Knowledge required:

 

  •  Stellar customer service - you don’t need to be from a contact centre background, but you need to show that you always put the customer first
  • The ability to empathise with the customer
  • Clear communication skills
