CRM Database Planner

We are passionate about technology, and the eyes and ears of the customer, our role is to champion customer insight across the business to deliver a true customer centric CRM programme working closely with Customer Data, Analytics & Insight teams as well as Agencies, Commercial Categories & Services teams. Collaboration and being a competent and mindful team player is absolutely crucial, whilst also being comfortable with owning and maintaining relationships and projects with key senior stakeholders.
 

The Role:

 

  • The purpose of this role is to ensure that CRM can exploit its considerable data assets within Adobe Campaign. This is a busy and varied role with the company’s data at the heart
  • Working with both technical & non-technical members of agile teams, this role will develop and maintain effective solutions to support data migration or data transformation processes
  • Database maintenance/manipulation, performance, configuration, systems reporting, systems implementation and propensity model activation    

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Help support the deployment of new capabilities that will transform the ways that our teams work with data 
  • Lead impact analysis into processes, systems, data flows and reporting
  • Facilitate workshops to support the definition of detailed business requirements 
  • Translate and prioritise end user needs across the affected business areas
  • Proactively identify gaps or broken processes & procedures with recommendations for fixes
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and create/manage execution of test plans
  • You’ll act as the Subject Matter Expert for CRM data and workflows into Adobe Campaign
  • Understand existing database structures and use Adobe’s workflow to build new and existing flows ready for campaign delivery
  • Design, plan and implement optimal data workflow solutions
  • Develop use cases and functional specifications documents
  • Map CRM requirements to system/ technical requirements

 

Knowledge & Skills

 

  • In-depth knowledge & experience with SQL scripting & related technologies
  • Data classification and document tagging/indexing of unstructured data
  • Extensive working knowledge and experience with ETL / Data Integration tools
  • Excellent requirements gathering, process re-design & mapping skills
  • Ability to assess complex data problems and deliver insightful and practical solutions
  • Analytical thinking with technical background to engage with IT teams to affect data changes
  • You'll have a curious mind and a real talent for asking the right questions, flexing your analytical mindset to leave no ambiguity and to challenge the way we do things
  • Have been involved in CRM migration and implementations, ideally with Adobe
  • Experience with MySQL database design & architecture, administration, implementation & management
  • Proven experience in aligning marketing strategy with clear data capability plan
  • experience in a similar CRM database role
  • Demonstrable proficiency in SQL, Excel and Power BI (or similar reporting tools)
  • Degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science or Cloud engineering certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience in Big Data Analytics landscape (e.g. Spark, Adobe, Hadoop, SAS, SQL, BI)
