DESCRIPTION

We have recently formed a new in-house social media team and this role provides a great opportunity for a proactive individual to drive innovation and grow our brands social media communities, through the development and delivery of social content.  This involves delivering world-class community engagement, supporting our overall business objectives and social content strategy.

 

This role reports into the Senior Social & PR Manager and we want your support and expertise in the team in terms of driving high levels of engagement across our channels, and spotting opportunities for us to engage in as a brand. You’ll be working in an amazing team that’s always striving to drive best in class social content and push the boundaries.

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for: 
•    Growing engagement and following across our social media channels through the development and delivery of social content.
•    Delivering world-class community engagement, supporting of the overall business objective and social media strategy.
•    Having an external focus, looking daily for newsworthy stories and jumping on the bandwagon when necessary for reactive content for our social channels. 
•    The delivery of the content calendar on a weekly basis that’s aligned with the objectives of the business
•    Ideating with the team for reactive and opportunities to drive engagement on the social media channels.
•    Responsible for the creation of content
•    Responding to our community through the social platforms, engaging with customers and influencers


 

You will need: 
•    Good communication skills both written and oral and great copy writing skills. 
•    Having a creative eye for video and design and passionate about creating engaging content that delivers for our brands. 
•    Experience of managing social communities for brands with a key focus on driving engagement.
•    Familiar with trending content and how your brand can be involved whilst maintaining relevance at the same time.
•    A track record of creating engaging content for other brands. 
•    Proactive and passionate about marketing and the consumer technology industry
•    Excellent knowledge and application of Social Media best practices across Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and integration with other marketing channels.
•    Ability to multitask within a team environment and work under pressure
