In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for using data and customer insight to generate ideas and propositions that keep customers on the iD network as long as possible. This role is accountable for reducing customer churn - and requires a highly numerate and analytical candidate with strong commercial acumen to develop the right propositions.


As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:


  • Defining customer segmentation criteria based on churn insight and customer value
  • Determining optimal pricing and investment levels for each segment, maximising upsell, and identifying target segments for marketing activity.
  • Presenting end-to-end analysis of upgrade and retention activities, including impact on conversion, margin and customer tenure
  • Identifying, valuing and influencing the development of new initiatives across the various Online, Retail and Telephony channels
  • Support the development of 2 direct reports (both analysts)
  • Refining churn and upgrade forecasts to reflect returning base behaviour and impact of initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities to develop new in-life propositions to generate incremental value from the base

Desired skills & experience:


  • Strong commercial awareness and experience in measuring and driving ROI
  • Using data & insight to identify opportunities & build hypothesis around marketing strategy
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Business Intelligence software knowledge (Microstrategy, Business Objects, Power BI or similar)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Strong attention to detail as well as a creative thinker
