DESCRIPTION

The role reports through the Group commercial function. This central function’s core purpose is to work with key supplier partners to identify common goals and leverage commercial benefit (in product and/or services) to be delivered across the Group.

 

The Partnership team negotiate and navigate delivery of programmes, interfacing with both external and internal stakeholders across various levels of seniority.

 

As the Programme Manager, you will be the business lead, responsible for delivery of supplier partnership programs & projects within Dixons & key suppliers

 

You drive the business forward, by delivering improved ways of working through operational analysis, change management and process re-engineering. 

 

 

You will:

 

  • Develop Supplier Partnership program strategy, on-board and develop new and existing partnership plans
  • Build internal communication and engagement plan for supplier partnerships across both businesses
  • Recommend and manage appropriate/effective incentive plans - aligned to supplier partnership objectives and across both businesses
  • Own the Board agenda - manages pre-read collation from project teams, sets and manages agenda, ensure decisions are made and captured and actions followed up on
  • Work with Finance team to track costs and benefits
  • Support project teams to build Project Plan - once agreed, tracks any changes to agreed scope etc.
  • Collate weekly and monthly reporting that summarises project team progress against agreed milestones
  • Support development of best in class project management skills within Project teams - ensures consistent use of tracking/project management templates across teams
  • Ensure the sharing of best practice and insight between project teams & identifies overlap & dependencies between workstreams
  • Constantly look to improve ways of working and makes recommendations to Board as appropriate
  • Build a supplier partnership knowledge base 
  • Monitor implementation of new processes/ways of working and supports project teams in the transition to BAU
  • Plan timing and work, monitor progress
  • Map processes, identify key performance indicators and critical points
  • Identify cost elements and determine cost drivers

 

 

You will need:

 

  • Previous Project Management Experience.
  • Strong Communication and Presenting Skills
  • Strong Analysis and Operations Modelling Experience
  • Experience within a Retail/FMCG environment (Desired)
  • To be educated to a degree level (Desired)
