DESCRIPTION

The role of Commercial Marketing Manager sits within the Ecommerce Marketing Team which is accountable for driving high quality traffic to the Currys and PCWorld websites. This is a critical role within Ecommerce at Dixons Carphone as it will be instrumental in developing our strategy for delivering high quality advertising campaigns on behalf of our major supplier partners. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and our suppliers to develop advertising programmes both on site and across our marketing channels including paid search, SEO and Affiliates. 

 

You Will:

 

  • Define the online marketing supplier funding process, requirements, guidelines and expectations (PPC, SEO, Affiliates).
  • Define monetization strategy for Currys and PCWorld websites.
  • Finalise online marketing supplier proposals.
  • Identify SF opportunities per brand and category and work with category teams to deliver the proposals.
  • Manage requirements for technical changes necessary to deliver new advertising channels working closely with other ecommerce teams.
  • Provide a single point of contact for our suppliers and commercial teams to plan and review activity.
  • Report weekly and periodically against website income and supplier funding targets.
  • Manage agencies to deliver to target.
  • Take ownership of internal reporting working with finance.
  • Work with larger advertisers & category teams directly to plan and execute activity.
  • Ensure that stakeholders across the business are identified, are aligned to strategy, and are kept up to date on progress and challenges.
  • Lead innovation in approach to supplier funding and onsite advertising.

 

You Need:

 

  • Good agency management experience
  • Excellent understanding of online marketing, e-commerce environment and being web savvy
  • Excellent commercial experience
  • Good knowledge of marketing techniques including search and general marketing
  • Good commercial awareness, preferably with experience of managing supplier funding / advertising
  • Excellent analytical skills; detail oriented
  • Excellent prioritization skills, able to work to deadlines and under pressure without compromising on quality
  • Excellent team player – able to work with and support other team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; good negotiation skills
  • Good experience of using web analytics software and Google
  • Excellent stakeholder management
