We are actively seeking an Associate Resourcing Business Partner to support our wider Recruitment team in attracting top talent, specifically into our corporate functions. The successful candidate will lead and support candidate sourcing activities to create high quality and relevant pipelines of internal and external candidates for selection against current and future roles at Dixons Carphone. 


This role would be great for someone who has agency experience and is looking to gain internal recruitment experience or someone who is looking to further their in-house career. 


You will;

  • Deploy a comprehensive range of traditional and innovative candidate sourcing methodologies to attract and engage high quality candidates for selection against current and future roles
  • Qualify and deliver candidates for assessment and selection against a specific functional brief, within agreed timelines; support Resourcing Business Partners and Managers to determine and deliver the most relevant and effective direct sourcing strategy to attract candidates across a broad range of complex specialist roles and higher volume mandates
  • Undertake research as directed to build and maintain market maps, segmenting companies and functions to build an overview of potential talent; engage with passive candidates as necessary to augment talent pools; build active networks, referrals and speculative applications from key talent groups
  • Provide market insight and intelligence to evolve and shape the resourcing plan for a defined client group and cascade data to contribute to the strategic objectives of the Resourcing Centre of Excellence
  • Develop and promote the Dixons Carphone employer brand using innovative marketing and advertising methods to promote the organisation as an employer of choice
  • Facilitate assessment centres and open days as required; attend recruitment fairs and recruitment networking events on behalf of the business to build and maintain market knowledge and intelligence
  • Avoid the use of 3rd party resourcing partners in favour of direct sourcing methodologies. Engagement with 3rd parties by exception only and subject to line manager authorisation
  • Work cross-functionally as required by volume and criticality of resourcing requirements across the business; deliver ad hoc Resourcing Centre of Excellence projects as directed


You will need:


  • Excellent knowledge of the tools, techniques and methodologies used to underpin effective candidate attraction and sourcing and proven ability to apply them to deliver positive outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on engaging with and influencing diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders; concise, logical and impactful communicator across media platforms
  • Good knowledge and experience of working with an in-house resourcing function within a complex and dynamic operating environment or strong consultant experience within a recruitment agency
