As an apprentice at Dixons Carphone, you’ll help us ensure that technology is both available and affordable to everyone who needs it. But you won’t just connect customers to all-important technology. This role is responsible for carrying out the daily merchandising of the Currys and PC World websites, optimising all areas of the websites including Homepages and Category and product pages by using analytical tools and on site merchandising functionality.

Our Junior Merchandisers implement marketing and category promotions online to ensure a multi-channel experience. The role is also to support the Online Merchandisers and Online Sales Managers in the respective areas. Increasing margin & increase in conversion rates through strong merchandising and attachment opportunities.

You will:

  • Drive increased sales and profit through the online channel working with the Online Trading team to assist in driving sales and margin increases Year on Year in terms of, product, services and solution sales across the websites.
  • Manage the availability of the online range including home delivery, reserve & collect and pay & collect.

  • Bring the current online merchandising offering in line with relevant brand positioning. Work closely with marketing team to ensure all key promotions are featured throughout the sites.

  • Analyse performance of commercial pages to ensure optimised customer journey.

  • Establish a philosophy of continuous improvement through all areas, demonstrable through meaningful metrics reported weekly and periodically.
